Who is responsible

Information you give us

Emails: if you email us, we receive your email address, name if provided, the content of your message and any files you attach. Purpose: to answer you and handle your request. Lawful basis: your request and our legitimate interest in responding.

Community advisor: if you use the AI community advisor, the budget preference, lifestyle description and amenity choices you type are sent to our server and to an AI service provider to generate a recommendation. We do not ask for your name or contact details there. Please do not enter personal, financial or sensitive information. Lawful basis: providing the feature you requested.

Information collected automatically

When you load any page, our hosting and security providers process your IP address, device and browser type, the pages requested, the referring page, date and time, and technical logs. This is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and prevent abuse. Your approximate location may be inferred from your IP address by those providers. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Your browser also contacts Google Fonts (to load the typefaces) and map-tile servers (to draw the maps). Those providers receive your IP address and browser information as part of that request.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising identifiers, session recording or cross-site tracking. See the Cookie and Browser-Storage Notice for the one item stored on your device.

Selling, sharing and profiling

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We do not use personal information for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Information is disclosed only to service providers acting for us (hosting, database, AI processing, fonts and maps), when required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

How long we keep information

Emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request and keep reasonable business records, then deleted. Server and security logs are kept for the periods set by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting. Advisor inputs are processed to return a result and are not saved by this website to a profile; the AI provider’s own retention practices apply to its processing.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS connections and restricted server access. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cross-border processing

This website is operated from the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than yours.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a portable copy of your personal information; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent at any time; to opt out of sale, targeted advertising and significant profiling (we do none of these); and to appeal a decision about your request. Email npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com to make a request. We may need to verify your identity, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California and other U.S. state rights

Residents of California and other states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and others) have the rights described above to the extent those laws apply. In the past twelve months we have collected the categories of identifiers (such as IP address and email), internet activity (pages viewed, logs), approximate geolocation and any content you send us, for the purposes above. We have not sold or shared personal information as those terms are defined. If you are refused, you may appeal by replying to our response; if the appeal is denied you may contact your state attorney general.

European and UK visitors

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the lawful bases are described above, and you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Global Privacy Control

Because we do not sell or share personal information or run optional tracking, a Global Privacy Control signal needs no additional action. When your browser sends one, the website treats it as a choice of essential storage only.

Children

This website is intended for adults researching homes and places. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email npeters@yourleaderinluxury.com and we will delete it.
